Sometimes as busy Mums and Dads we need a little help in seeing the beauty and the preciousness of what’s in and around us. In all the hustle and bustle of family life we can forget how fabulous and important these times are. Our children seem to grow up far too fast and we want to capture the here and now before its gone.

Sarah Aires Photography aim to do that for you, to help you see/remember your families true beauty and uniqueness in the images we capture. To help you slow down for a couple of hours – to enjoy yourselves and then have something truly special to remember and reflect ont.

We want to help you create a lasting record of these precious fleeting moments in your family’s history. We do this by getting to know you, finding out what you like….and then having fun with you in your ‘natural surroundings’ (your home, garden or other favourite place)

Our photo sessions are wonderfully fun affairs. We like to capture not just stand alone pictures but the whole experience; happy memories of a warm, relaxed and special time spent together.

We provide a totally different experience from having professional family studio portraits taken where you may have lined up in uncomfortable clothes in a studio to grin on cue!

After an initial phone call, we’ll meet with you to discuss what you want out of the whole experience. You can show us where you want to display your family pictures and we’ll ensure that the finished images will fit perfectly with your décor and space and also advise on mounts, frames, sizes and finishes.

Sarah makes sure that she knows exactly what you want from a shoot and delivers beautiful photos each time. (She is totally fab and always professional.) Alison W

We’ll then schedule a session of about an hour and a half, during which everyone is very quickly put at ease and then we’ll walk and talk or play and dance or drink tea and play chess – or whatever your family likes to do together and we’ll capture the special inter-relationships and your unique personalities.

We’ll the show you the best of the images we have captured in your home (or online if you prefer). We’ll discuss frames and canvasses, their shape and arrangement on your wall – and then we can even arrange for them to be installed! (saving you the hassle of spirit levels and rawl plugs!)

Sarah took measurements, suggested photo sizes, types and sizes of frame. I would never have had the confidence, artistic flair or time to have created my picture frame display without her great advice. Katherine McIlroy
